The Swedish band Thundermother announced on their social media the departure of bassist Majsan Lindeberg.

“After two years and one album with Majsan, she decided to pursue a different path. She did an incredible job and made history with Thundermother, and for that we are eternally grateful to her. We wish her all the best in her future projects.”

Majsan also commented on her departure, saying she would like to see Thundermother “dominating the world.” “I can’t wait to get a ticket and see them from the audience. All my love to the girls!”

Thundermother now has a lineup consisting of Filippa Nässil (guitar), Guernica Mancini (vocals), and Emlee Johansson (drums). The group is expected to announce soon who will replace bassist Majsan.

The band's last release was Heat Wave , in 2020, which exploded on the world charts, reaching the top 15 in countries such as Germany, Switzerland and Sweden itself.
