Thrones stars Dirk Verbeuren and Shane Embury
The band Tronos has released the official music video for their second single, “Judas Cradle.” The atmospheric video was created by Khaled Lowe, Sam Edwards, and Caleb Carney . The track will be part of the band's debut album, Celestial Mechanics , which will be released on April 12th.
Thrones marks a collision between two underground metal heroes: Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Brujeria) and producer Russ Russell (Dimmu Borgir, At The Gates) . The duo joined forces with Megadeth Dirk Verbeuren to create apocalyptic dark metal.
Regarding the song, the band commented that it showcases “the most epic side of our debut album. It’s a true journey in our musical voyage. We really let loose on this one. Although the lyrics are based on fantasy, the song is really about the struggles of living in this dying world. It may seem dark and depressing. But it argues that there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
