Thrice takes a risk with a more electronic sound in "Robot Soft Exorcism"; listen here.

The track will be part of the band's next album, scheduled for release in September of this year.

Thrice has just released “Robot Soft Exorcism”, a track that will be featured on their upcoming album, Horizons/East . The song showcases a different sound, venturing into electronic music in this new phase of the band.

The song was inspired by a Twitter thread by David Dark . The author and professor discussed the term "Robot Soft Exorcism," which, according to him, is a metaphor to help us distinguish between destructive systems and those that benefit from them. Vocalist Dustin Kensrue drew inspiration from this thread and created the song to expand on this concept.

Horizons/East will be released on September 17th and is already available for pre-order.
