Attention rock bands from Rio de Janeiro, get ready: Tune your guitars and grab your drumsticks with all your might! A unique opportunity is coming.
The State Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy – Sececr , of Rio de Janeiro, launched the call for proposals “Esse Tal de Rock'n Roll” on Friday, July 12, 2024. According to the call for proposals, 30 slots are being offered for rock bands. It also includes a prize of R$ 50,000 per selected proposal, totaling an investment of R$ 1.5 million.
Registration is open from July 15th to August 12th and is aimed at legal entities or micro-entrepreneurs (MEIs) with original compositions. Bands must perform shows in at least two cities in Rio de Janeiro.
The proposals will be evaluated based on project quality, cultural relevance, community integration, budget and schedule coherence, dissemination activities, artistic trajectory, and compatibility of the technical specifications with the activities.
