The film This Is Spinal Tap will have a sequel with Paul McCartney , Elton John , and other guests appearing in the film.
RHLSTP podcast ( via Consequence Net ), director Rob Reiner spoke about the return of "everyone." Reiner, Christopher Guest , Michael McKean , and Harry Shearer are confirmed for the sequel.
The director said that filming will begin “at the end of February,” and that “Paul McCartney is joining us, and Elton John, and some other surprises, [like] Garth Brooks.”

Last Tuesday, the 28th, Paul McCartney gave a surprise concert at Clube do Choro in Brasília. The venue had a limited number of people present, and this was the first performance of the Got Back tour.
The musician will also be performing in São Paulo, with three shows, as well as in Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, and Curitiba. Tickets are on sale at the Eventim .
