The Who: New album reaches top 3 in UK for the first time in almost 40 years.

The last time the British group achieved a high position was in 1981

Who 's latest release, Who , debuted at number three on the UK charts, marking the first time a British band's album has reached such a high position in 38 years.

The album follows Endless Wire , which debuted at number nine in November of that year. Face Dances debuted at number three, subsequently reaching number two. Alongside that album, Who is one of the band's highest-charting albums in the UK charts.

The Who have released twelve studio albums, with only Who's Next reaching the top of the British charts in September 1971. Despite this, the group is one of the greatest icons of rock and one of the best-selling bands in history, having sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
