The Who have announced plans to release a new album later this year. This information came along with confirmation of a new American tour.
The album will be the first since Endless Wire , from 2006, which ended a 24-year wait for a full LP. The previous one was It's Hard , from 1982.
In April, they will be on the Moving On , which features the band performing with local orchestras in different locations.
Describing what to expect from the new album, Roger Daltrey spoke about what defines The Who. “Dark ballads, heavy rock, experimental electronics, samplers and songs in the style of The Who. With guitars that go yanga-dang.”
