Contestant Louis-Paul Gauvreau, who was selected on The Voice Québec singing "Stabwound" by the German death metal band Necrophagist, has now performed "L'abîme du rêve" by the Canadian death metal band Incandescence. With this performance, Gauvreau advanced to the quarterfinals of the show.
