The Velvicks will present this Friday, the 10th, the lyric video for "LA", the first single from their newest album, which will be released via ForMusic Records . Directed by Caio Beserra, the visuals for the lead single from the group's new project will arrive the month after its release.

The Brazilian band based in New York pays homage in the single to "all those who give up most of life's everyday experiences, known by most people as happiness, to seek what brings them sanity and joy," shares vocalist Victor Nader.

Regarding the lyric video , Nader explains in a statement released to the press that it was inspired by classic fiction. “The giant, faceless robots walking through the city of Los Angeles were the way we found to talk about the thousands of people who move there in pursuit of a dream. The video engages with the pursuit of artificial aesthetic perfection, the quest for stardom, and what one exposes oneself to in that process.”

"The song lyrics describe a resistance to the process of this transformation, while the video already shows the final result of this choice," says Nader.
