The milestone is reached 6 months earlier than expected
Iron Maiden's beer, The Trooper, has already reached one million pints (1 pint = approx. 568 ml) sold, according to Robinsons Brewery. This equates to approximately 11,000 liters of the beverage being consumed per day since its launch on May 9th.
According to the brewery, the milestone was reached six months ahead of schedule. Oliver Robinson, director of Robinsons Brewery, said he was surprised by the scale of the beer's success: “We are amazed to have reached this milestone so quickly. One million pints is far beyond any rational expectation.”
The beer was recently selected to be sold in the British Parliament's pub, as part of a government program to encourage unknown or independent English breweries.
The official website of the beer has a list of countries that can already import the beverage.
