On the afternoon of Thursday, the 4th, the organizers of The Town announced improvements for the 2025 edition of the festival. The event will take place on September 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 at the Interlagos racetrack in São Paulo – tickets are still on sale .
The Town made improvements to the stage layout following feedback from the previous edition.
In a press conference held at the event venue, Roberta Medina , vice president of Rock World , revealed news about the festival. The main piece of news concerns the new positioning of The One stage, which is now on the other side of the festival and no longer near the Skyline stage. Because of this, the interval between shows has been increased. Complete information about the schedule for each performance can be found here .
Regarding this, Roberta stated: “The main change was The One, which is our second main stage and has moved to the other side of the Autódromo. This will allow us to have much richer mobility than in the first edition. It and Skyline were facing each other. Many people were only on one side of the festival. And at certain times, circulation was also difficult. Because of this, the interval between shows is longer.”
In addition to the new stages, the event will feature over 70 different giveaway options for the audience through various sponsor activations. The official store will also be available, allowing fans to purchase festival merchandise or items from their favorite artist.
The mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes , also attended the press conference and stated that this year's edition had an economic impact of R$ 2.2 billion. Furthermore, it generated 26,300 direct and indirect jobs. Both figures are from FGV ( Fundação Getúlio Vargas ).
How to get there and how to watch from home.
The best way to get to the racetrack is by public transport. All CPTM and Metro will operate 24 hours a day on all days of The Town. There is also the option of paid transfers, which drop fans off closer to the entrance gates.
For fans who want to watch from home, there will be a TV broadcast. Multishow will show the two main stages, while Canal Bis will broadcast performances from the Quebrada and Factory stages. TV Globo will also air a recap of each day of the event. [ via globo ]
