Town festival confirmed a new edition in 2025 during a press conference held this Sunday, the 10th, at the Interlagos racetrack.
From the same creators of Rock In Rio , the event debuted in the city of São Paulo last Saturday, the 2nd, and ends this Sunday, the 10th, after five days. In a press release, the organization announced that 500,000 tickets were sold and more than 235 hours of music were divided among the festival's six stages.
During the press conference, Roberta Medina , the festival's vice-president, released a study conducted by the Getúlio Vargas Foundation that predicted an economic impact of R$ 1.7 billion for the city of São Paulo, in addition to the creation of more than 19,000 direct jobs.
There are no dates yet for the second edition of The Town , but the event is also expected to take place in September every two years, just like Rock In Rio , whose next edition is confirmed for 2024. See the confirmed dates here .
