The Smiths: Johnny Marr's Autobiography arrives in Brazil.

Belas Letras publishing house releases a kit of the book by the guitarist and co-founder of the band.

The autobiography of Johnny Marr , guitarist and co-founder of the British rock band The Smiths , has finally been translated into Portuguese and is arriving in Brazil as part of a kit published by Belas Letras.

The book Set The Boy Free traces Marr's entire life and career, from when he was just "a boy growing up in a working-class, Catholic Irish family who quickly discovered the power of music and art," through the story of the formation of The Smiths, when he met an older singer named Steven Morrissey in the suburbs of Manchester in the early 1980s and invited him to start a band together, alternating personal memories, musical insights, and reflections on society and customs.

For the launch, the publisher has prepared an exclusive kit with a bookmark, sticker, poster, and a 400-page copy of the book, at a special price. Learn more on the website.
