“While writing this new album, I was intrigued by the worn-out axiom, ‘you can’t go back home’,” stated Billy Corgan , the band’s vocalist, who said in a press release that he wrote, produced, and recorded the new album along with the rest of the band ( via A Rádio Rock ).
“What I personally found to be true in form, but I thought, what if we tried anyway? Not so much to look back sentimentally, but rather as a means of moving forward; to see if in the balance of success and failure that our ways of making music around 1990-1996 would still inspire something revelatory.”
The group is coming to Brazil during the month of November for two shows in the country, on the 1st, at Arena BRB Nilson Nelson, with tickets on sale at Bilheteria Digital , and on the 3rd, in São Paulo, at Espaço Unimed, with tickets available at Tickets On .
