Dio sang We Rock
Dio Disciples' show at Wacken Open Air last weekend featured a special appearance by Ronnie James Dio as a hologram. The hologram vocalist appeared to close the show, singing the song " We Rock" .
The technology was produced by the company Eyellusion, which still hopes to put on full concerts with Dio.
The band's guitarist, Craig Goldy, commented on the performance: “We know how much the fans miss Ronnie and his unparalleled live performances. Being able to recreate that magic for his fans at Wacken was incredible. For so many years, Ronnie invested so much in his shows as a way to give back to his fans, and that's exactly what we wanted to do with this performance.”
