Scorpions have announced that the 30th anniversary of the single "Wind Of Change" will be celebrated with a special box set for fans titled Wind Of Change: The Iconic Song .
The classic song, which topped the European charts in 1991, became an anthem of the era after being released shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall, reinforcing the atmosphere of change at the time.
In addition to a CD, a vinyl record with five versions of the song (including a previously unreleased demo by Klaus Meine ), and an 84-page hardcover book with unpublished photographs, the band also included an unusual item in the song's anniversary box set, but one that symbolizes the song: a piece of the Berlin Wall with a handwritten excerpt from the song.
