The Rolling Stones invited Lady Gaga to a surprise concert held last Thursday, the 19th, in New York City, United States. The intimate performance celebrated the release of the album Hackney Diamonds , launched this Friday, the 20th.

According to NME , the band's show took place in a venue with a maximum capacity of 650 people. In addition to career classics, the Stones performed tracks from their new album, marking their first album of new material in 18 years, with "Angry," "Whole Wide World," and "Bite My Head Off" on the setlist.

The group's surprise set concluded with a special appearance by Gaga, a guest on the album, for the track "Sweet Sounds of Heaven," performed live for the first time. On the album, the song also features Stevie Wonder .

In addition to Lady Gaga and Wonder, the album Hackney Diamonds will also feature appearances by Paul McCartney, Elton John, former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman, and drums recorded by Charlie Watts on two tracks before his death.
