Rapper DMX died last Friday, the 9th, after being hospitalized in New York on the 2nd. Reports indicate he suffered an overdose that resulted in a heart attack, leaving him in a coma.
Musicians and colleagues from all over the world took to social media to pay tribute to the rapper and mourn the great loss. Rock musicians were no exception, and here we have selected some of the musicians who expressed their condolences.
DMX, born Earl Simmons in New York on December 18, 1970, rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s, releasing a total of eight studio albums and creating timeless hits such as "X Gon' Five It To Ya," "Where the Hood At," "Ruff Ruders' Anthem," and "Party Up (Up in Here)."
