Rob Zombie's 'The Munsters' reboot is expected to be 3 hours long.

The information was provided by actor Butch Patrick, who played Eddie Munster in the original series.

Rob Zombie is working tirelessly on his reboot of The Munsters , and according to actor Butch Patrick , the film is almost three hours long.

Patrick played the werewolf child Eddie Munster in the original CBS series, and apparently he watched an early version of Rob Zombie's film that exceeds two and a half hours. This information came during an episode of the 20TIMinutes podcast .

“This movie is going to be killer in the best sense,” he said (via Dread Central ). “It’s a pretty long movie, like 2 hours and 38 minutes… but I saw the footage and saw where [Zombie] is taking the story and it’s really very good.”

The final runtime of the film has not yet been confirmed, despite the actor's confidence in the information. He also did not confirm whether he will participate in the film when questioned by the podcast host.

The reboot of The Munsters , written and directed by Zombie, is set to be released soon in theaters and on streaming platforms. The film joins Zombie's list of horror movies, which includes 3 From Hell (2019), 31 (2016), The Devil's Rejects (2005), and the remakes of Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009).
