“As a songwriter, I feel like I’m not here to preach. I use music to observe and communicate what I see around me,” says Taylor Momsen about the track.

There's a new music video from The Pretty Reckless out now!

“And So It Went”, the latest single from Taylor Momsen in partnership with Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine , which will be part of the new album Death By Rock and Roll , arriving on February 12th, got visuals yesterday, the 3rd, with an intense and electrifying production that features a children’s choir made up of students from the Maine Academy of Modern Music , matching the dystopian message of the track.

“The world is in a state of civil unrest. 'And So It Went' basically comes from that perspective,” Momsen tells Rock Sound . “As a songwriter, I feel like I’m not here to preach. I use music to observe and communicate what I see around me. This song felt like the perfect storm for Tom Morello to join in and break the sound waves with his guitar.”
