Taylor Momsen , lead singer of The Pretty Reckless new album recordings . According to her, the sessions are not yet finished. On August 22nd, the group released "For I Am Death" – their first single in four years.

In an interview with Audacity Check In , Momsen mentioned that due to touring with AC/DC , the band doesn't have enough time to go into the studio and that sessions take place during shows. The vocalist also didn't give a release date, but stated that the group will be very active in 2026.

“We’ve had some crazy years lately. We’ve been touring with AC/DC for the last two years. And then we’ve been in the recording studio between tours, that’s basically how we’ve been working. And we’re not done yet. We haven’t finished the tour — I’m in Paris now — and we haven’t finished the album, but I couldn’t wait any longer. ‘For I Am Death’ is the first thing I want people to hear. So, there are a lot of things I can’t tell you yet. Next year is going to be insane. There’s a lot coming. It’s just the beginning,” he declared [transcription via Blabbermouth ].
