The Pretty Reckless releases music video for “Got So High”; check it out!

The track is part of the 2021 album 'Death By Rock And Roll'.

A year and a half after the release of the album Death By Rock And Roll , The Pretty Reckless released the music video for another track from the album, the song "Got So High".

The video follows vocalist Taylor Momsen in moments of ecstasy and psychedelic trance, mirroring the song's lyrics about being under the influence of drugs. Beyond drug use, part of the track also addresses the euphoric effects of fame and success, often compared to the sensation caused by certain drugs.

"Got So High" is the fourth single released from Death By Rock And Roll . The other three singles, "Death By Rock And Roll," "And So It Went," and "Only Love Can Save Me Now," all reached number one on the charts. With four more number-one singles throughout their career, The Pretty Reckless became the first female-fronted band to have six number-one singles on the Billboard charts .

'Death By Rock And Roll'

Death By Rock And Roll is The Pretty Reckless' fourth studio album and deals with themes of grief and emotional battles experienced by Taylor Momsen. The album's lifeblood comes from the loss of two of the singer's close friends – vocalist Chris Cornell and the band's former producer, Kato Khandwala .

The album also features guest appearances from fellow members of The Pretty Reckless, such as Tom Morello on "And So It Went," Soundgarden members Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil on "Only Love Can Save Me Now ." The album was the best-selling album of its release week.
