Recently, The Pretty Reckless achieved an unprecedented milestone on Billboard , becoming the first band with a female vocalist to have six number 1 singles on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
Following this record, the group also became the first female-fronted band to have two consecutive number-one singles in the active rock format, with the single “And So It Went” reaching the top of the charts this week, following the success of its predecessor “Death By Rock And Roll”.
The powerful and dystopian “And So It Went” features the illustrious participation of guitarist Tom Morello , from Rage Against The Machine , who heaped praise on vocalist Taylor Momsen . “I had the chance to perform with Taylor Momsen at the Chris Cornell . We played “Loud Love” and she killed it, which is no easy feat. Thank God she and her band continue to hold the flag of rock and roll in such a powerful way,” said Morello.
Taylor Momsen reciprocated the rock icon's words, saying: "This song was a perfect fit for Tom Morello to come in and tear through the sound waves with his guitar. It was more than a pleasure to have him on board and add his unique and defining sound to the song."
