In February, French President Emmanuel Macron challenged the famous YouTuber duo, McFly and Carlito , to make a video encouraging French citizens to maintain personal hygiene habits and social distancing to help combat the coronavirus.
In the challenge, Macron proposed that if the video surpasses 10 million views, McFly and Carlito would be invited to record the next video for his channel from the Élysée Palace, the private and official residence of the presidents of France.
The bet paid off, and the YouTuber duo recently released a 36-minute video filmed at Macron's private residence, including a small surprise in the final minutes: a heavy metal concert.
Starting at minute 34, the band Ultra Vomit appears on a stage set up in Macron's own garden and performs a hardcore version of the popular French lullaby "Une Souris Verte". The performance seems to amuse and intrigue the French president, who is seen smiling throughout the entire performance. Check it out below:
