The guys from The Offspring know that the situation in the world isn't the best in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, but they decided to face the situation with humor and irreverence in the music video for "Let The Bad Times Roll," released this Friday, the 26th.

In the video, four young people in social isolation experience surreal problems inside their homes: from spider-like cell phones to video games that become reality, the greatest enemy of each seems to be the attack of a bothersome and sadistic virus that invades homes through the air.

“People are saying: If everything is going to hell, we might as well make the most of it, or at least go out dancing,” Noodles commented on the song , which takes a jab at the stance of world leaders on various social problems, including the pandemic, in the lyrics: “Mexicans, blacks and Jews / It’s all settled for you / I’ll build a wall and let you decide / Between apathy and suicide.”

The song is the first single from the band's upcoming album, the successor to 2012's Days Go By Let The Bad Times Roll will be released on April 16, 2021; see cover art and tracklist below.
