Aaron Aedy , guitarist for Paradise Lost , spoke about the band . The British band's most recent work is Obsidian, released in 2020.
In a conversation with Alejandrosis [via Blabbermouth ], the musician replied that the album "isn't fully mixed yet, but it's recorded."
Aedy also stated that he will not reveal details about the sound of the material. According to him, doing so "is like opening Christmas presents ahead of time".
"I don't want to talk too much about the new album yet, because I'm going to wait and see how it sounds when it's mixed. It's almost ready, but not quite."
Paradise Lost's new album may be released between September and October.
In March, guitarist Greg Mackintosh told PowerOfMetal that the release should happen between September and October.
“It was the longest gap we’ve ever had between albums. But that also happened kind of because of the pandemic… So, shit happens. And, yeah, I hope it’s released in September or October of this year.”
It's worth remembering that Paradise Lost is one of the acts at Bangers Open Air , which takes place this weekend at the Memorial da América Latina in São Paulo. The pioneers of gothic metal will play on May 4th. Tickets are still on sale .
