Knotfest , the festival created by Slipknot , is coming to Brazil for the second time in October at Allianz Parque in São Paulo. The 2024 edition will take place on October 19th and 20th, and tickets are already on sale on the official Eventim website.
The new edition comes with a novelty: celebrating their 25-year career, Slipknot has prepared a different presentation with a unique and unmissable set for each day, meaning the group will headline both days of the festival.
In preparation for the festival, the Wikimetal asked readers: which band are you most excited to see, besides Slipknot themselves? The answer was: The Mönic + Eskröta with 46% of the votes.
Brazilian bands dominated the ranking of the most anticipated acts. After The Mönic + Eskröta, Black Pantera followed with 17%, leaving Ratos de Porão and Ego Kill Talent close behind. The first international band to appear in the top 5 of the poll was BABYMETAL , from Tokyo, Japan. Check out the full results at the end of this article.
In addition, the festival will feature Mudvayne, Bad Omens, Lindemann, POD, Amon Amarth, Meshuggah, Dragonforce, Poppy, Project46, Eminence, Krisium and more.
