The new project from the Green Day vocalist performed for the first time in the USA
Billie Joe Armstrong 's new band is only a few weeks old but is already showing promise. After releasing an EP and a full-length studio album , The Longshot kicked off their promotional tour, and below you can watch videos from their first show, which took place in Oakland, California.
David Bowie 's "Ziggy Stardust" before the group played the trio of tracks from the EP, "Love is for Losers," "Taxi Driver," and "Chasing a Ghost."
The Longshot consists of Jeff Matika Green Day 's touring guitarist Kevin Preston (guitar), and David S. Field (drums), along with Billie Joe Armstrong.
Meanwhile, Green Day is on a break from touring their Revolution Radio (2016), and sources close to the band have revealed that a film adaptation of the classic American Idiot may be in the works.
