The Linda Lindas have released the music video for the title track from their upcoming album, No Obligation .

Along with the track came the powerful statement: “ Eloise wrote this song because we are not going to adhere to and limit ourselves to what others think we should be or sound like. We make music for love, not out of obligation.”

With a release date set for October 11th by Epitaph , the second album from The Linda Lindas was produced between school semesters, as three of the four band members are still studying full-time. According to DIY , the new album blends and incorporates post-punk, garage rock, new wave, and much more, across 12 tracks.

“No Obligation” is the third song released from the band's new studio album. The music video features vocalist/guitarist Naoko Yamano from the Japanese pop-punk band Shonen Knife . The track joins “All In My Head” and “Yo Me Estreso”. These three new releases reinforce the musical maturity of the Los Angeles quartet, which is increasingly conquering its space, multiplying its fans, challenging standards, and proving that no one is too young for rock.
