In celebration of LGBT+ Pride Month , celebrated every June, the documentary "LGBT+ in Brazilian Heavy Metal " aimed to discuss sexuality within the genre.
“It wasn’t easy getting here, and without the great support of our partners Diego Sachi and Föxx Salema in producing this content, it might not have been finished. There were many adversities, including the impossibility of traveling to record the final testimonials, which were done via video calls,” says Clinger Carlos Teixeira , producer of the documentary along with Sachi and Salema. “But nothing will stop us, and we will continue discussing everything that involves the world of Heavy Metal, and talking about LGBT artists who make up this scene was our goal. Ultimately, it’s about checking out the content, drawing conclusions, and above all, reflecting so that we can evolve more each day as human beings and as appreciators of the world that so enchants us, the world called HEAVY METAL.”
