The French band The Inspector Cluzo released their ninth studio album, Horizon, this Friday, the 27th. Listen to the album at the end of this article.

To celebrate the album's release, the duo also released the album's fourth single, "Rockophobia." The track features a special appearance by Iggy Pop . In addition, Inspector Cluzo will release the documentary Running A Family Farm , a follow-up to Rockfarmers released eight years ago.

Speaking about Horizon in a statement released to the press, the duo commented: “Each song [on the album] relates to an event in our lives, something we have personally experienced, especially as professional farmers. Our fight against large factory farms to protect our geese and our Lou Casse farm is our fight to protect an agroecological farming system against both large agricultural corporations and greenwashing propaganda.”

“Songs like 'Running a family farm is more rock than playing rock 'n' roll music' or 'Saving the Geese' talk about the enormous avian flu pandemic that we also had to face. Songs about the environmental aspect, like 'Swallows,' appear less and less frequently because of agricultural chemicals. The title track, 'Horizon,' is certainly our most personal, linked to our own philosophy of life. This track was written 15 years ago and recorded for the first LP, but we never achieved the result we had in mind until now.”.
