The shows will not be cancelled
The band Helloween has announced that their reunion tour will have some setlist changes due to Michael Kiske's health problems.
In a Facebook post, they revealed that the lead singer is experiencing throat discomfort, which is causing problems with his voice.
The shows will not be cancelled but have undergone changes, mainly in their setlist which will be adapted so Kiske can perform without jeopardizing his work.
"It is with great regret that we have to announce that Michael Kiske is experiencing vocal problems caused by our exhausting travels. He gave his best during the first two shows in Mexico, but after consulting with a doctor, he needs to rest his voice.".
We're thinking about cancelling tomorrow's show in San Jose, Costa Rica, but Helloween, and especially Michael, don't want to disappoint their fans. We know many of you have been waiting for this for a long time and have made many sacrifices to attend our show!
With that in mind, we decided to shorten the setlist so that we can continue the tour.
Michael is eager to perform for his fans in San Jose, but unfortunately, his participation will depend on medical advice tomorrow.
Thank you for your understanding!
A few hours ago Kiske was seen by a doctor and the band announced that he will attend the show and will "do his best for the fans in Costa Rica" .
Helloween will be performing in Brazil on October 28th and 29th.
