Wattie Buchan, vocalist of the legendary punk band The Exploited , scared fans when he became ill and vomited blood during a performance at Circo Voador in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday night, the 10th. The episode occurred during the third song of the setlist, "Dogs of War". According to the Confere Rock , the 67-year-old musician showed visible signs of weakness from the moment he took the stage.

Despite the scare, Wattie returned after a few minutes' absence and, surprisingly, managed to continue until the end of the show. According to audience accounts and videos shared on social media, the vocalist even left the stage on more than one occasion between songs.

It's worth remembering that Buchan has a delicate health history: in 2014 he suffered a heart attack during a show in Portugal and, in 2022, he collapsed on stage in Colombia. Days before the Rio show, the artist had already canceled the band's performance in Belo Horizonte for medical reasons , which increases concern about his current condition.

After the show, Wattie took to social media to thank the Rio de Janeiro audience and acknowledge that he had faced a difficult moment: "The show was incredible, but unfortunately I got sick and vomited blood on stage," he wrote.

The band still has a show scheduled for this Sunday (11) in São Paulo, at Carioca Club. So far, there have been no changes to the schedule.
