The Doors are getting a biography in comic book format. Titled Morrison Hotel , the book will be published by Z2 Comics and was written by Leah Moore in partnership with the remaining members of the group, guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore.
The work features artwork by big names in the industry that will show the moments leading up to the band's performance at Dinner Key Auditorium in Miami on March 1, 1969. See an excerpt from the graphic novel here.
Morrison Hotel will be released on March 16th – pre-order available at this link – and will also include a picture disc to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the album's release. See a photo below.
