The publisher Belas Letras is bringing to Brazil for the first time the first volume of the definitive biography of Elvis Presley , Last Train to Memphis .
The collector's kit, including a book, a paper toy to assemble, a sticker, and a bookmark, was made available exclusively to the publisher's newsletter subscribers and Brazilian fan clubs five days before the official release, and only a few units remain. Orders for the kit, while supplies last, can be placed through the publisher's online store. Once the kit is sold out, only the book will be available.
The book tells the story of Elvis's childhood and youth, the beginning of his career, and his relationships with family, girlfriends, colleagues, mentors, and fans. First published in the United States in 1995, it arrives in Brazil in time for fans to read it before seeing the Elvis in theaters (scheduled for release on July 14th).
The second volume of the biography may be brought to Brazil depending on the sales figures of this first one.
