The Dead Daisies released another single from their live album Live From Daisyland this Friday, the 1st, this time with “Long Way To Go”.

Part of the album Make Some Noise (2016), released before Glenn Hughes the band, the song gained new life with the vocalist's powerful voice speaking about the long road still to be traveled on life's journey.

“It’s a heavy rock’n’roll track with great significance for the difficulties of the world today. The cool thing about the riff is that the first two bars are 4/4 time and the third is 2/4, which gives it a very interesting feel. It’s a very meaningful track,” comments guitarist David Lowy in a press release.

The song is a tribute to singer-songwriter Doc Neeson , lead vocalist of the band The Angels. The musician died in 2014 at the age of 67.
