This Friday, the 27th, The Dead Daisies release their new single, “Radiance,” which will be part of their new album, scheduled for release in August. The band has been writing and recording for the past two months in Los Angeles with renowned producer Ben Grosse at Mix Room studios .
A powerful opening sets the pace for “Radiance,” an eclectic heavy rock track. The riff conveys a 70s vibe, originally created in the industrial heartland of England. The hit features Glenn Hughes delivering powerful vocals, soaring above the musical storm provided by Doug Aldrich and David Lowy Brian Tichy 's earth-shattering drumming , marking his return to the band.
“'Radiance' was the first song we wrote for the album, and we wanted to address a universal awakening with the lyrical content. Musically, it's heavy on groove and movement,” Hughes said in a statement.
On June 3rd, The Dead Daisies kick off their European tour with the return of Brian Tichy and will share the stage with Judas Priest , Foreigner , and Whitesnake .
