The Dead Daisies are back! The band has released a new single , titled "Unspoken," which will be part of their upcoming album, Holy Ground , scheduled for release by Spinefarm Records later this year.
The album is the band's first release since 2018's Burn It Down , and was recorded with a very special guest appearance by Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple . The musician joined the band because members John Corabi and bassist Marco Mendonza were focusing on their solo projects.
The album was produced by Ben Grosse and recorded at Studios La Fabrique in the south of France. Regarding the new album, drummer Deen Castronovo said, "I'm so proud of this record, more so than any I've done in the past!"
Regarding the single , guitarist Doug Alrich said, "This was one of the first songs we played at Sunset Sound in Hollywood, and then we worked on it in France where everything was fresh thanks to a few months apart."
