The track is part of the band's fourth studio album
The Dead Daisies have released the first single from their new album, Burn It Down.
“Rise Up” features a riff inspired by Black Sabbath and lyrics that reflect the current state of the world. “It’s about the people in power saying they have our best interests at heart, but in reality, they don’t! We need to stand up and make our voices heard, to tell them that we want change and deserve better things!” said vocalist John Corabi.
The successor to Make Some Noise (2016) will be released on April 6th by Spitfire Music and promises to bring back the best of 70s rock. While we await its release, check out the new track “Rise Up” below.
Alongside Corabi are Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy), Deen Castronovo (Bad English, Journey) and David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink). Together, they form The Dead Daisies.
