Guitarist Andreas Kisser , best known for his work with Sepultura , recently recorded a video for UOL Esporte YouTube channel, talking about his experiences with football.
Among the questions, Andreas answered about the game that most irritated him in his life, the moment that made him cry the most, and the most tense argument he ever had because of sports. Regarding the latter, the guitarist revealed that the serious conversation was with Sepultura's bassist, Paulo Xisto , and that the subject of the argument was none other than Rogério Ceni.
While Andreas heaped praise on the player (and now coach), calling him "exceptional" and "revolutionary," Paulo, an Atlético Mineiro , apparently didn't share the same viewpoint. "Rogério is hated by the rest and loved by the São Paulo fans," said Andreas. "Obviously, there were goalkeepers who took free kicks before, but I think Rogério reached another level. And then there was the fight... the Atlético and São Paulo [ SPFC ] argument and Rogério Ceni, anyway... a silly thing that almost broke up the band."
The guitarist laughed, but then admitted that the situation was a bit complicated. “It was kind of a serious thing, but the next day everything was fine. That was the argument that almost ended Sepultura or almost kicked someone out of the band [laughs], but we're still together today, discussing football in the best way possible.”
