Betty White , one of the most respected actresses and comedians in the business, passed away on December 31st at the age of 99. The sad loss prompted the internet to remember some of her greatest works, and Wikimetal was no exception.

In 2010, White participated in a Saturday Night Live to perform a version of the soundtrack from The Golden Girls , the iconic series in which she starred as Rose Nylund between 1985 and 1992.

With her brilliant mind, Betty White didn't deliver a traditional cover. At 88 years old at the time, she surprised everyone when she presented the theme song completely differently, transforming it into extreme metal.

The sketch, which aired on Mother's Day in the US, featured big actors and comedians like Andy Samberg, Amy Poehler, Jason Sudeikis, Maya Rudolph , and more. The cast appeared singing the theme song until White says he prefers his own version, then dons a ski mask and transforms into a true extreme metal star.
