The Darkness has released the title track from their upcoming album Easter Is Cancelled , scheduled for release on October 4th via Cooking Vinyl – available for pre-order here.

Speaking about the song, frontman Justin Hawkins commented that it was created by Rufus “Tiger” Taylor and Dan Hawkins , “They created this kind of danceable AC/DC , except with all these weird, progressive tempo changes.”

“Lyrically, it’s one of the multiverses. You can’t be angry at a multiverse. It makes everything more manageable. You need to comfort yourself with the fact that there’s a reality somewhere where not everything is crap. On the other hand, when everything is going right, there’s a universe where it isn’t, and you should be grateful.”
