The Darkness has released a spectacular lyric video for their new single “How Can I Lose Your Love,” taken from their acclaimed Top 10 album, Easter Is Canceled .
"How Can I Lose Your Love" is a great rock anthem full of emotion, with space-age synthesizers, a gigantic chorus, and powerful guitar solos.
Regarding the music, guitarist Dan Hawkins says: “Stylistically and emotionally, it’s big and epic. The guitars are very loud in this song. In fact, everything is really loud. It draws you in, builds you up, and then hits the brakes.”
The vocalist and brother Justin continues with the meaning of the song: “I suppose this song is describing a relationship that drifted away from me and I was helpless. I felt like I was trying to rescue it, but after a while you wonder if it’s worth saving. I’ve been in that position more than once. Sometimes I was the one who created the collapse, sometimes I was a victim of the collapse. I hate when people say 'no regrets' because you don’t learn anything. You’re doomed to repeat the same things. Everyone should have regrets.”
