The power metal trio The Damnnation announces the release of their debut album, Way Of Perdition , which will be released via the Dutch label Soulseller Records on May 6th.
The band promises a versatile sound that blends various strands of extreme metal and breathes life into old-school thrash. Way Of Perdition was produced and recorded by Rogério Oliveira , who also worked on the EP Parasite , and mixed and mastered by Martín Furia , who has worked on albums by Nervosa , Eskröta , and BARK .
“We are all very excited to finally release our debut album!”, comments vocalist and guitarist Renata Petrelli in a statement. “This album is a compilation of some old riffs and some new ideas, based on all the mess we've been going through these days! You'll also hear some details featured on our first EP and some other influences we've had! See you on the road, friends!”
The Damnnation is a trio based in São Paulo, formed by Renata Petrelli (vocals, guitar), Aline Dutchi (bass, backing vocals), and Luana Diniz (drums, backing vocals). In 2020, they released their four-track EP titled Parasite , which delivers a furious punch of old-school heavy metal meeting the weight of thrash metal.
