The Cult 's album Sonic Temple celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2019, and to commemorate the occasion, the group released The Cult: Sonic Temple 30 , a collection of five albums featuring demos and unreleased tracks.

Originally released in 1989, Sonic Temple is one of the band's greatest albums and is considered a classic by rock fans. Produced by the legendary Bob Rock , the album featured four chart-topping singles: "Fire Woman," "Edie (Ciao Baby)," "Sun King," and "Sweet Soul Sister."
