The band has been working on the album since 2017,
and the singer recorded vocals before her death.

The Cranberries filled fans with news this Wednesday, the 9th. In a Facebook post, they revealed that they will release a new album in 2019. The Irish group stated that Dolores O'Riordan had already recorded the vocals for the LP before death on January 15th. The singer was 46 years old.

Three days before the tragedy, Dolores sent new songs to guitarist Noel Hogan. The tracks were intended for the group's next album, which would have been The Cranberries' first in six years. In a statement, the band revealed that they had been working on the LP since last year.

They also promised a special edition of their debut album , Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?, which turned 25 on the 1st of this month. The project had been cancelled after O'Riordan's death, but will be released later this year.
