Max and Iggor Cavalera , brothers and founders of the Brazilian heavy metal band Sepultura , have announced a US tour with their project Cavalera Conspiracy, scheduled to begin in February 2025, titled Third World Trilogy .
The announcement, released on official social media accounts , also revealed that the tour will feature death metal band Necrot and thrash/hardcore band Dead Heat as opening acts.
Regarding the compositions made for Sepultura, the brothers stated that they will include songs from the first albums in their setlist during the tour ( via Blabbermouth ), following the series of re-recordings of the first three albums.
The tour, which will run until March 20, will pass through major cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, and San Diego, and promises to provide fans with a return to the true roots of metal.
Amidst an undeniable legacy and the nuances that marked the brothers' journey, Max and Iggor Cavalera were pioneers in the development of Brazilian thrash and death metal.
Regarding the matter, Max stated in an interview with Blabbermouth Schizophrenia tour and album to the United States: "If you want to hear fast riffs, crushing drums, booming bass and schizophrenic solos, come and throw yourself into our pit!"
Drummer Iggor comments: “I’m very excited about this tour; it’s one of those rare opportunities to see our early recordings in their purest form, played live.”
The tour promises to revive the essence of metal that the Cavalera brothers created in the 1980s and 1990s.

Tickets for the tour's pre-sale were made available last Tuesday, the 17th, while sales to the general public will begin this Friday, December 20th, through the brothers' official website.

Andreas Kisser criticizes Max and Iggor Cavalera's new phase.
In an interview with IMPACT Metal Channel , Andreas Kisser , guitarist for Sepultura, was asked about the re-recordings of the band's early albums done by Max and Iggor Cavalera.
Kisser stated that he considers the re-recording of albums such as Bestial Devastation (1985), Morbid Visions (1986) and Schizophrenia (1987) unnecessary and disrespectful, arguing that there is no artistic value in the re-recordings.
The criticism from the Sepultura guitarist came after the brothers were invited to join the band on their farewell tour. So far, Iggor and Max have not commented on the matter.
Andreas Kisser, regarding the Cavalera brothers' attitude, compared it to the work of The Troops of Doom , who have dedicated themselves to reclaiming Sepultura's legacy in a more honest and creative way. For him, the decision to re-record the old albums doesn't fit with Max Cavalera's image.
