Iron Maiden 's album "The Book Of Souls" won as the best album of 2015 with 64% of the votes. In a distant second place, with 16% of the votes, was Slayer's album "Repentless".
"The Book Of Souls" is Iron Maiden's 16th album, and it was released in September of last year. Upon its release, the album marked the best debut week in the band's history with 74,000 albums sold. The album also reached number 1 on the sales charts in 24 countries during its first week.
The album is the longest work in the band's history, at 92 minutes.
Iron Maiden will be touring Brazil in 2016, with the following dates: March 17th in Rio de Janeiro, March 19th in Belo Horizonte, March 22nd in Brasilia, March 24th in Fortaleza, and March 26th in São Paulo. Tickets are already available for purchase on the Livepass .
