The best rock songs that talk about sex.

Wikimetal's Power Trio shared their Top 11 songs that combine rock and sex.

Sex is a theme that has been part of human history since its creation, and there is no shortage of great rock and metal songs that address the subject.

Whether the songs talk about it explicitly and openly or subtly through analogies full of hidden meanings, the fact is that rock and sex form a combination that has captivated several new generations.

The frequency of the theme in rock music has become so constant that Ronnie James Dio expressed his discontent with the lack of creativity in heavy metal music in 2006. “Rock and roll used to be about sex, drugs and rock n' roll, but [now] it’s just about the sex part. If you watch the music videos, all you see are people [simulating sex], it’s a huge bore,” he criticized during an interview. “To me, that has nothing to do with the music.”

On the other hand, rock fans don't seem to mind the mix. Quite the opposite. A curious study conducted by TickPick in 2020 found that heavy metal fans are more likely to have sexual experiences in a car than fans of other music styles.
