This Friday, the 22nd, Mötley Crüe will release the film The Dirt on Netflix. The movie will tell the story of the band from its formation, through the scandals and bizarre situations they went through together.
Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee, and Vince Neil will be played by Douglas Booth, Iwan Rheon, Machine Gun Kelly , and Daniel Webber , respectively, and will be joined by Tony Cavalero , who will play Ozzy Osbourne , and Christian Gehrin, as David Lee Roth .
The Dirt is an adaptation of the book of the same name, released in 2001. Five years after its debut, the rights were purchased by Paramount Pictures, but production of the film was delayed until this year after Netflix stepped in to lead the project.
